Cheers to Oregon water and Oregon beer! This weekend more than a dozen Oregon breweries are teaming up with Oregon Environmental Council and Oregon Brewshed® Alliance to raise awareness and funds for water conservation.
On January 30th and 31st, $1.00 from each pint of Hopside Down IPL purchased at the Widmer Brothers Pub will be donated to the Oregon Environmental Council and Oregon Brewshed® Alliance for their work in protecting Oregon’s rivers, lakes, and fresh drinking water. Stop by the pub during the weekend, and raise a pint in support of clean water!
About Oregon Environmental Council
Founded in 1968, Oregon Environmental Council is a nonprofit, non-partisan, membership-based organization. We protect the health of every Oregonian and the place we call home by working for clean air and water, a healthy climate, an unpolluted landscape and sustainable food and farms.
About Oregon Brewshed Alliance
In April 2015, Oregon Wild announced the formation of the Oregon Brewshed® Alliance – a coalition of brewers, craft beer affiliates, and conservationists advocating for the protection of forests and watersheds. Together, members of the Alliance work to educate the beer drinking community about protected watersheds and their essential role in Oregon’s celebrated craft brewing industry. Pint nights, special brews, beer fests, and brewshed® hikes serve as a platform for outreach and education, and give craft beer enthusiasts a chance to support the Oregon brewers committed to leadership in sustainability and conservation.
